About MSPA

MSPA is a not-for-profit organization which supports and promotes the sport of skydiving within the province of Manitoba.

MSPA is governed by a board of six officers: President, Secretary/Treasurer, and four directors. These are volunteer positions staffed by people who freely contribute their time and efforts to sport parachuting in Manitoba. The President serves a one-year term while the remaining officers serve two-year terms. The two-year terms are staggered, so that at any give AGM approximately half the positions are up for election. This provides continuity to the board while giving a chance for new people with new ideas to contribute.

The Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the Sport Manitoba building at 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg. All members of MSPA are welcome to attend any meeting. Just drop in.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in January of each year, when we elect a new board and take care of other outstanding business.

See the MSPA Mission page for our Vision, Values, Mission Statement and Key Strategies.
